An auditory display for the London Underground disruption map
The London Underground disruption map project is an exercise in how to develop auditory overviews of directed graphs. The disruption map shows real-time information on the state of the Undergound service. Visually, it is a very effective overview and we are exploring how to provide such information using sound. We are developing two divergent overview strategies with the aim of discovering which features of the map are most important to represent.
